Sydney Elise Leslie is Here!

Sydney was born to her parents, Candace and Patrick Leslie, on June 16, 2006 at 8:42 am. She weighed in at 7 lbs 15.5 oz, and is 19 inches long. She is beautiful, as you can see for yourself! She's got some brown hair hidden under that hat and the girl has some lungs! We are all so excited to meet her.

Everyone Loves a Pirate

When we asked Jake wanted he wanted to be when he grew up, he said, "A pirate." Jake has been fascinated by pirates for a while now, so when his third birthday rolled around, we had to throw a pirate party. Here's our little Captain Hook.

Never a Dull Moment

Our three year old son has said some pretty funny things throughout his life. He's a funny guy. His most recent comment that had us giggling happened during my niece's graduation. It was during the commencment adress when Jake piped up, "I hate this show" (sorry Jeremy). Then during the slide show that had some trouble getting started (don't they all), Jake said quite loudly, "start the movie!" I guess you had to be there to really appreciate this.

Welcome to the new blog of John and Holly Lloyd. We have no idea how to blog, but since we used to have a website, we thought we could handle this new technology. Mostly we thought this would be a good place to post news and photos of our son, Jake.
